This custom metal cabinet is meticulously designed to meet the rigorous demands of industrial and outdoor equipment housing. Whether used for electrical distribution systems, HVAC ventilation units, communication modules, or generator enclosures, this cabinet provides robust physical protection, efficient air circulation, and long-term durability in harsh environments.
The cabinet's body is fabricated from premium-grade galvanized steel or cold-rolled steel, depending on the customer’s requirement. Every sheet is CNC laser-cut, bent with precision on hydraulic brake presses, and joined via spot welding or riveted frame assembly. The result is a box structure that is both rigid and modular, capable of withstanding external impact and heavy-duty operational conditions.
Ventilation is a major highlight of this design. The left unit features two large mesh-panel doors and side vents, optimized to support constant airflow, heat dissipation, and passive cooling. These mesh panels are reinforced with a steel frame to prevent deformation and are ideal for systems that generate internal heat. The right unit, meanwhile, is designed with integrated louvered grills on the base and lower front panel, along with precision-cut equipment ports. This configuration minimizes ingress of water or dust while allowing for internal exhaust fans or passive airflow to maintain optimal operating temperatures.
To further enhance usability, the cabinet includes optional mounting plates and equipment rails inside. These components are designed to accommodate rack-mounted gear, circuit boards, sensors, or even cooling fans. Internal partitions can be integrated to create separate compartments for control units, power inverters, or communication lines. Optional cutouts, cable entry points, and gland plates can be pre-configured based on client drawings, ensuring compatibility with your system from the moment of installation.

The external structure of the cabinet utilizes high-quality steel sheets, typically ranging from 1.5 mm to 2.5 mm in thickness. These are laser-cut and shaped using advanced press braking to create a precisely engineered form. Corners are reinforced with welded brackets or corner gussets, ensuring structural integrity during transportation and when exposed to wind loads or equipment vibration. The door panel is hinged with stainless steel hardware, while the top can be designed flat or with a slope to prevent water pooling in outdoor environments.
The front-facing surface of each cabinet is designed for function and airflow. In the left model, large-format mesh ventilation panels dominate the top and bottom halves, secured with screw-fastened removable frames. These mesh panels are not only perforated for optimal airflow but are also bordered with steel flanges to prevent deformation. For the right unit, the design takes a more closed approach, with strategically placed louvered vents on the front and sides and fixed rectangular openings for device interface or cooling system ports. These designs reflect the adaptability of the cabinet to varied thermal and environmental needs.
Internally, the cabinet structure is built to accept a wide variety of mounting configurations. It may include equipment rails for rack-mounted components, support trays, or vertical partitions depending on the customer’s needs. The internal surface is pre-treated for corrosion resistance and painted to match the exterior finish. Depending on the use case, users may specify internal insulation (for sound or thermal protection), drainage holes, or shock-mounting brackets for sensitive devices. Special configurations can support PLCs, power distribution modules, or fiber-optic hubs with proper clearances and secure mounting points.
The bottom structure is reinforced with thick base plates, allowing the enclosure to be securely anchored to concrete pads, steel grates, or industrial flooring. For ventilation purposes, the base may include additional filtered air inlets or duct interfaces. In models intended for outdoor use, rubber seals or EPDM weather gaskets are installed along the door edges and any cable openings to prevent dust or moisture ingress. Custom feet, casters, or plinth bases can be added to meet transport or installation needs.
