Manufactured using premium-grade sheet metal processes, this enclosure serves as a protective housing that can withstand the rigors of weather exposure, dust, and tampering. It is ideally suited for environments such as roadsides, parks, industrial sites, and commercial facilities where pole-mounted installations are necessary.
Built from cold-rolled steel or stainless steel, the enclosure boasts excellent mechanical strength and resistance to deformation. For environments that demand higher corrosion resistance, stainless steel variants (SS304 or SS316) can be selected. This ensures the enclosure maintains structural integrity and continues to protect sensitive internal components, even in coastal or industrial zones with high humidity or airborne chemicals.
For added security, the front-access door is fitted with a high-quality cam lock system, complete with a rubber dust cover to protect the lock cylinder. This prevents unauthorized access and minimizes the risk of internal damage caused by tampering. The door opens widely to allow comfortable access for technicians during maintenance, and optional features such as document holders, cable glands, or internal brackets can be installed upon request.
Mounting is another strength of this enclosure. It comes equipped with robust stainless steel mounting hoops designed to wrap securely around poles of varying diameters. The main body is constructed from a single cold-rolled steel or stainless steel sheet, cut with laser precision and folded into a rigid box structure using CNC press brakes. This ensures both structural strength and dimensional accuracy. The internal sidewalls may include pressed dimples or welded brackets for secure mounting of internal equipment such as backplanes, DIN rails, or control panels.
The front-facing door is hinged on one side and secured with a key-operated cam lock. This door is designed with a folded edge and an internal silicone gasket that runs along its perimeter to form a tight seal when closed. The hinge and lock are both treated for rust prevention, with the lock also protected by a rubber flap to prevent dirt or rain from entering. When opened, the door swings to a wide angle, allowing technicians full access to the interior. Optional hinge types include concealed or external hinges based on user preference.
The enclosure’s roof features a projecting overhang that serves both functional and aesthetic purposes. Functionally, it prevents rain from directly entering the door seal, thus adding a second layer of protection against water ingress. Aesthetic elements such as beveled edges and color-contrasting panels can be applied to enhance the enclosure’s appearance in urban environments. Internal design elements such as ventilation grills or condensation drainage channels can also be integrated without compromising the enclosure’s IP rating.
